To me it looks like it just alters the bias ratio using a ramp and preloaded springs like a clutch type would. Almost like it now would have 2 bias ratios. I'd wager it still cannot acheive a true 100:0 torque split. IMO the zero load thing isn't as big a deal as they make it out to be. If your suspension is properly set up you shouldn't be completely unloading the inner wheel, and you probably don't want to put full power down to your outer wheel mid turn anyway.
Of course it's nice if it can lessen one of the perceived faults of a mechanichal LSD, but if the bias ratio thing was that big of a deal, there are already other options that don't suffer from that issue like a clutch type LSD.
